Let's Talk: Emotions Decoded - Unveiling the Brain's Blueprint

with Deiric McCann

Emotions influence every facet of our lives—from our daily decisions to our most cherished relationships. Yet, traditional views on emotions barely scratch the surface of what neuroscience has uncovered in recent decades. This webinar will delve into groundbreaking concepts that challenge the classic theories of emotions being innate and universal. We explore how our brains construct emotions, drawing from a complex interplay of history, culture, and individual experience.

Join us for an enlightening journey into the human mind. Inspired by the pioneering insights of Dr. Lisa Feldman Barrett, this session promises to transform your understanding of how emotions are crafted by our brains.

You will learn:

  • The Basics of Constructed Emotions: How does your brain predict and interpret emotional states? Learn the foundational elements of this revolutionary theory.
  • Beyond the Amygdala: Discover why modern neuroscience looks beyond this small region of the brain when explaining emotional phenomena.
  • Practical Implications: Understand how this new perspective can enhance emotional intelligence, mental health, and interpersonal relationships.
  • Interactive Q&A: Have your most pressing questions answered live. Engage with the content on a personal level and see how it applies to your own life and experiences.

The feedback received from all that attended mirrored my own opinion, the session was fantastic. The way you deliver is very thought provoking, educational, interactive and most of all inclusive and fun. “The way you show up” is now very consciously in everyone’s mind and the influence that has on one’s own self and those around them.
